Sorry, the latest AV club reviews (there's even a Moffat-bashing paragraph in the latest Sleepy Hollow review!) made me more ornery than usual.

No shit, Sherlock. The reviewer is still comparing two shows and claiming that one is "fundamentally better."

The AV CLUB

I just interviewed for a second job with Lyft to pay the bills.  It seems really cool.  For those not in the know, Lyft is basically a trendy pseudo-taxi company whose drivers put big pink mustaches on the grills of their personal cars.  Anyone use this service?

"Medium talent!" is also a great contender for best heartfelt Chevy putdown.

I suppose they could have sent it to a bunch of other people… didn't think of that.

Shame on me.

No mention of Adam Scott?  That intro (and his hair) was delightful!

I feel obligated to post something, but I don't get the reference.

Hold on, I just heard him blame 9/11 for his alcoholism.

I only know Hardwick from the Nerdist and other podcasts, but I thoroughly enjoy him on those.  He's a relatively funny guy and a good host.  Why the hate?

When will Sean O'Neal get his own Colbert-esque show?  The people need to know!

I suppose I'll have to give it a proper listen then.

What's up with the Night Vale podcast that's hovering at the top of the charts?  Anyone listening to it?

The pageant scene is a bit derivative of Little Miss Sunshine…

This sounds remarkably similar to the album version. I dig it.

This seems to fit Patton Oswalt's definition of a Pixar movie: "Have something that wants to be something else and have it go on an adventure."

to be fair, he really did give it his all before bailing early

They did the same thing at Firefly this year (and they canceled the year before).

If a silly cartoon can make you cry, you really need to learn to deal with your emotions…
