God, YES. I'm so tired of the hyper-competent protagonist who is the best ever in 15 different fields. What's wrong with just being a guy who is good at something, but is still ultimately very, very fallible?

The Bourne movies do it for me, although they lack the same humor that Die Hard uses so efficiently.
Love Die Hard 3. Always thought it got short shrift from people. Way better than 2, or either of the terrible modern ones.
Eh, at this point, I usually take internet racism for granted and move along. Half the time it's trolling, and the rest of the time it's just not worth wasting your time on.
That series out outfits was shocking for all the wrong reasons.
Alright, question for those of you in the know:
This show seems dead-set on being one of those inoffensive shows you leave on in the background while you cook or wash dishes (ex. King of Queens). But I don't know if those kind of shows can exist anymore.
This… doesn't look good.
I like to call it "The Tyler Perry Paradox".
Agreed. I genuinely feel bad for Ms. Johnson going into this. Like, even if it's a commercial success, it's a potential career-killing millstone around her neck.
Yeah, this is kind of my frustration. There are a TON of great actors in this film, and Hollywood by and large can't think of anything to do with them other than the occasional guest spot.
Can I toss in a vote for "March", the graphic novel about the life of John Lewis? It's really, really fantastic.
Yup. The scrambling on the Spice Channel was never 100%, so every 30-45 seconds you'd get these brief glimpses.
I'm almost completely sure that was the most black men with credited speaking roles that have appeared on network television since "Martin" went off the air.
God, this movie.
Basically every Film student I've ever met.
He spent a while playing military dress-up, didn't he?
Well done, the lot of you.
Nick Bakay. I might hire him to re-enact his schtick as Norbert from "The Angry Beavers" though.
