They're making multi-part movies out of every YA novel that creeps near the NYT's bestseller list, but they couldn't potentially make this a two or three parter in order to tell all the varied, interesting stories the original did?

I've always put them in two different categories. Fast zombies actually pose some kind of threat, and scare me. Slow zombies can be more interesting however, as they have repeatedly been used (quite well) as a platform for social critiques.
