I'd love to see Oliver Sava review this show. After seeing how critical he has been of Daredevil this season, I think him trying to pick apart an episode of TV this nonsensical would cause his head to explode.

This episode was complete nonsense. It is downright baffling that a team of "professional" writers could put together a plot this ridiculous and be proud of it. Hard to decide where to begin with this one, but here goes:

So I take it you are not looking forward to Civil War?

I rarely take any issues with a specific reviewer, but some of the "negatives" this guy points out are ridiculous. Not only is he completely misinterpreting certain aspects of the show (as 90 other comments have already pointed out), but many of his criticisms are nothing more than "I wanted them to do it this way

Seriously, I'm usually a pretty big stickler for bad acting - *cough* Foggy *cough* - but I thought Elodie Yung was fantastic and have not heard one single person say otherwise other than in this review. If Elodie's performance comes off as stiff, who's performance doesn't?

I totally agree. It's true that Season 1's plot was a lot more focused and had a better main villain for Matt to battle; but I found Season 2 to simply be way more FUN to watch than the first season thanks to the better pace and more interesting characters.

If that bothers you I feel like you're watching the wrong genre….

Thank you for pointing this out. Not sure how the reviewer didn't get this one…

Haha yes I was the same way! I thought the Mirakuru was too far fetched for the show at the time of its introduction. I also remember that the producers said that they wanted to go back to being more grounded in the 3rd season…which I was excited about. Yeah…so much for that plan panning out.

I think that's already official, but this would definitely help cement it.

This is true, but they could still do a better job of it than they do. Daredevil manages produce 13 episodes of essentially no filler, whereas sometimes these shows feel like they have about 6 episodes worth of content that actually directly relate to the main villain and actually advance the plot forward. I mean The

They basically took opposite paths. Chloe was despised in the early seasons, but had a total transformation once she learned Clark's secret. On the other hand, Felicity was a huge favorite early on, but then did a 180 and became one of the worst characters on the show.

Yeah, anytime you introduce resurrection into a show it really lowers your concern for the characters. Especially when you consider how easy they made it look to get to Nanda Parbat and toss someone in the hot tub for a few seconds. Hell, it was like they went to a day spa.

This is a really good post, and I completely agree with all of it. Seriously, how many times are we gonna have to watch Captain Lance mourn the death of one of his daughters? You'd think he'd almost be getting used to it at this point.

The saddest part for me is that as I watched this episode, knowing full well in advance that this is where the show was going to shake things up big-time, all I could think about was, "I wish I cared…" This show has become too inherently silly that I no longer feel any investment or attachment to any of these

This episode…was actually surprisingly entertaining (though giving it an A is going way overboard). I normally hate FotW filler garbage, but when it's this entertaining even I can't complain. Captain Lance's expression as he asked about digital honey was priceless.

I've tried really hard to give the actor that plays Foggy a chance, but he is EASILY the weakest link of the series.

For reasons I do not understand, this community is 100 times more critical in regards to DD than the likes of say, Flash or Arrow. I will see people post the most ridiculous, insignificant complaints about DD on these forums only to turn around and give a thumbs up to episodes of Flash/ Arrow that have hilariously

I was really underwhelmed by JJ. It wasnt a bad show, but I personally found nearly every character on the show to be intolerable and the ways/reasons why she couldn't stop kilgrave became very contrived and ridiculous in the final few episodes. Also, the show was just kind of depressing after a while.

I definitely agree that Arrow's cast of "heroes" got way too bloated. It doesn't help that some of them are so ridiculously implausible *glares at Laurel* that they have essentially caused the show to devolve into outright camp. Let's hope that over in Daredevil land, Foggy and Karen won't be strapping up to battle
