Seriously, I don't know if I have ever seen a season of any show tank quicker than this one. Maybe I'm just too fresh off of my Daredevil binge (yep, this is the 14th time I've said this) so I noticed it a lot more, but this season has really started circling the drain lately. It started out REALLY promising too,

Gotta wonder if Berlanti and co. bit off more than they could chew with all these additional TV series. I wouldn't say that Arrow was ever an amazingly written show, but the first 2 seasons at least did a pretty good job of spinning a focused narrative and keeping everyone in character throughout the season. Once The

The thing is, putting Felicity into the romantic spotlight didn't just inherently ruin her character, it's more so the fact that they did such a horrible job of it. Everyone loved Felicity and Oliver together in S1 - S2 because the romantic side of their relationship was written in a much more subtle, believable

Yep, I'm right there with you. I usually look forward to Arrow and Flash, but after finishing S2 of DD a couple nights ago, listening to the dialogue on Arrow and Flash was even more painful than usual.

I would say Arrow has very few episodes that are as good as some of Daredevil's "worst".

Well done.

So..uh…anyone else really, really miss Daredevil…?

You'd think that being a good writer period would be a prereq to being hired on to write any network TV show (yes, even a CW show), but nope. I swear I don't understand how some of the writers on the CW shows have jobs. I'm sure you could scour the internet for some random Arrow fan fiction that is actually much

I found some of these reviews to be a bit too nit-picky, but maybe that's just because I'm too used to how the reviews for Arrow and The Flash let A LOT of stuff slide by comparison (especially The Flash reviews IMO). Man, if a lot of the grievances this reviewer had with some of these episodes were applied to the

I'm a little surprised by the rating as well. I really enjoy this show despite its slow pace, but literally nothing happened this episode. Not saying that it was bad, but an A is VERY generous for a table setting episode that did very, very little to move anything along (especially when compared to last week's

Didn't even think of this. That would have made A LOT more sense.

"Marvel's bending over backwards to explain super beings and magic (upcoming) in the MCU, and DCCW just says stuff and changes scenes before anyone can ask qeustions :)."

I totally agree. I honestly wasn't thrilled when metahumans were first introduced because I think it really changed the show's formula, but at least you could write that off as being science fiction which helps to extend your sense of disbelief. I also enjoyed S1 of The Flash a lot more than I expected to, so that

Seriously, the whole scene was just completely ridiculous. These writers have no idea how to write believable human beings or relationships.

I totally agree. I'm baffled by the praise she has gotten here. Not only did I think the actress was unimpressive, but her powers were incredibly stupid looking on screen. Then there's the fact that Oliver randomly calls this chick out of nowhere and she essentially is the only to defeat the main villain of the entire

Wow, I am seriously shocked by this review score. I came on here expecting to see a C+ AT BEST. I thought this episode was legitimately terrible. Vixen and her powers were ridiculously stupid, and the fact that they had some random character that JUST got introduced be the one to essentially stop the season-long

Remember when people used to come on to this forum and yell "This f*cking show!" in celebration of Arrow? Yeah…miss those days.

I agree 100% with your first statement. Felt the same exact way when I read the article. The writers seem to think they are doing something incredibly brilliant by writing a parallel story to season 1, and I'm not really sure why… Maybe it would have been cool in like season 4 to do something like this as a call back

I found the twist-reveal at the end of the Illusionist to be at lot more intriguing than that of the Prestige. The whole "brothers" thing felt like kind of a lame payoff and the weird sci-fi element at the end came completely out of left field in the last 20 minutes of the film.

Man, I really wish this reviewer would write The Flash reviews as well. These reviews do such a great job of breaking down every detail and providing additional insight on a lot of the shows' concepts. I find them to be a real pleasure to read. No offense to the guy writing the Flash reviews, but they are essentially
