Holy shit, that was bad. A B rating is EXTREMELY generous in my opinion. I probably would have placed it at a solid C or C-. Normally in my posts I like to talk about the good and the bad of each episode, but I can't even come up with enough good things to make a "Good" list. Anyway, some of the dismal highlights

After rewatching the episode I'd say you're probably right, I think I simply enjoyed Danielle Panabaker as a blonde slightly more than I should admit.

The thing that is so frustrating about the over-stuffing is that this show has a TON of filler episodes and Smallville-esque freak of the week villains, so they could easily use those wasted episodes to more carefully plan out, and stretch the overall narrative. Instead, they will have two or three episodes with 80%

Bold themes alone are not enough to warrant a good grade. You need to be able to write an interesting and logical plot, which that episode did not do. That had episode had some of the most nonsensical time travel logic I have ever seen, and it completely clashed with all the time travel logic from S1. It literally did

Also, does Zoom's slow speech pattern drive anyone else crazy other than me? It doesn't help that his lines aren't particularly well written, so you can often tell what he's going to say as soon as he starts a sentence. I feel like Adam Sandler in Billy Madison when he's watching that kid read.

While I thought that this episode was one of the better episodes this season, I think it is definitely being over-hyped. It was fun, but it was also pretty groan-worthy at times. Anyway here goes:

Agreed. Talk about a major over-hype. I've said it before but I'll repeat it here, anytime a bunch of stuff from the comics gets tossed into an episode every hard core comic-book fan drools over it regardless of how well it's actually written. This episode was entertaining, but it had plenty of the same illogical

To be fair, Arrow is having a pretty good season overall. Can't comment on Supergirl as I haven't watched it.

So is Zoom ever going to actually become…interesting? Or nah.

The flashbacks need to go. Seriously. They were cool for the first couple seasons to learn the general back story of how Oliver became who he is, and because Slade became the main villain in season 2, but they are just totally worthless at this point. It's a win-win scenario really, dropping the flashbacks would give

"Why I have the feeling the "son of the b*tch" Felicity asks Oliver to kill is not Darhk?"

Seems to be a common theme with CW superhero shows. Smallville had the same issues, although I THINK Smallville split up the writing staff so that different writers would write each episode, whereas I'm not sure Arrow does that. It really is amazing though the way both Flash and Arrow can have episodes that seem to

It was ridiculous enough that even Barry and team would figure out the location based on that alone, but then Patty amazingly comes to the same conclusion and shows up at the same time?! Come on now, surely they could have come up with something better than that.

While I liked some of the ideas in this episode, some of the writing was INSANELY lazy and contrived. I mean come on, Cisco and crew are able to leave Star Labs, get in a van, drive around the city, and locate a bomb, and then use some magical device to suck all the bombs into a wormhole ALL before Weather Wizard and

I found this half to be MUCH more enjoyable than the first half. This episode had a lot better pacing and dialogue compared to the first half - which is pretty much how I feel about the difference between The Flash and Arrow in general this season. I felt that Arrow's characters were extremely out of character last

Thought the exact same thing.

"What dragged down the show in season 3 was that it was getting to realistically dull…"

"I've made out….with the Flash!" - Linda Park. That was easily the stupidest, most cringe-worthy line I've heard yet this year.

I completely agree. I realize that people will respond to complaints like this by talking about how it is a comic book show, but just because a show is based on a comic book doesn't mean that it has to become totally unglued from reality and delve into absurdly fictional territory to be entertaining (see: Daredevil).

Sorry, but this one was wayyyyy too ridiculous for me. Remember when this show's original goal was to create a superhero show somewhat grounded in reality? Yeahhh….I miss the days when the furthest I had to extend my disbelief was mirakuru powered soldiers. I like the Flash and all it's inherent sillyness because of
