Virtually every adaptation of Wuthering Heights ends halfway through the book, which is bullshit cause the second half is probably the more interesting one.

The movie was pretty good but the book is amazing and can be read in about the same time as it takes to watch the movie - so if you're going to do only one, read the book. If nothing else, you get the whole Calvinist thing which is left out of the movie.

Best answer. Don't forget the wild boar. As long as Getafix gives you the recipe for the magic potion just in case something happens to him.

Halfway through Charlotte Bronte's "Villette", which I decided to read instead of Jane Eyre because I don't have all the cultural baggage associated with Jane Eyre. It's pretty odd but interesting. Also reading Charles Pallister's "Quincunx", which strikes me as a far-too-long, much-less-organized Sarah Waters book,

They're great, at least the handful out of the 100 or so books I've read. They're nice because they're the opposite of all the tortured-genius-with-no-social-skills detectives out there - he's a police chief who's happily married, usually works 9 to 5, and is just good at reading people and understanding motives and

I feel like there's not going to be a good answer because "old school" is one of those terms that refers to both an era and a style (e.g. the Beastie Boys' "To the Five Boroughs" is old school in style, even though it's from 2004). I feel like Public Enemy and NWA were the first big hip hop acts that would not be

Michelle Williams is great in it too.

I don't think "poptimism" means what this article wants it to mean. It is a stance from which to listen to and critique music, not a choice to make pop music instead of other kinds of music.

I'd come up with other puns but I don't want to belaybor this thread.

Hiii!

Jessie Ware was born to do Bond themes.

Mathieu Amalric, who was a great piece of casting - unfortunately, they neglected to write a character for him to play.

They must have had a falling out.

I think this is the first time I have seen anybody express a favorable view on God Help The Girl. It does look nice in the video. I had decided not to see it since it sounded bound to be disappointing, but now I'm reconsidering.
