I wonder that as well. I don't think she was ever that big, but maybe I just missed it.

I think you're right that most people are on one side of the college/HS thing. I'm one of the people who genuinely enjoyed both, but among my friends it is very rare. I think because I did have a community in HS and a different, equally enjoyable community in college, my perspective is skewed.

Dalek helmet: The vote was 64% weirdly awesome, 35% lame. 1% abstained from Davison era Who.

I like this idea. The animated Justice League from a while back (wikipedia says The New Frontier?) was a fun movie, and could be shaped into a good film, perhaps?

I think the middle America of this episode really works. I agree it could be ham-fisted, in a way. But the humor, the performances… they make it great. I feel the same traveling through this country. I love it, but it drives me nuts. And sometimes I do scream that I need some civilization here.

I liked it when it debuted (I was in my first year of college, definitely a target audience for this), but I wasn't the biggest fan of the early seasons. Watching the movie in a theater with a college crowd, however who didn't know exactly what to expect from a feature length South Park, was one of the greatest

I would race home from high school with my girlfriend (now wife) to watch it at her place. Her parents, needless to say, were doubtful I'd make a decent husband. But I mostly do!

That is what floors me about this. Do these moms really think it's a choice? That is a ridiculous slippery slope, if so. They really wake up and have to consciously not make out with each other? Decide every day to have sex with men for the good of the country? It's backwards and bizarre.

Agreed on the Isaac scene. So great, and genuinely touching knowing the real life hardships of Guillaume.

Apologies if you're joking. But a bomb would work fine in space, right? No blast wave, of course. But there'd still be tons of energy and radiation, etc. It would blow some stuff up? I'm no nuclear physicist, surely. But…
