Apologies if you're joking. But a bomb would work fine in space, right? No blast wave, of course. But there'd still be tons of energy and radiation, etc. It would blow some stuff up? I'm no nuclear physicist, surely. But…

Definitely a great observation. 12-14 or so for me was the Carvey-Hartman years, and it's amazing how much I absorbed from that show about comedic mannerisms and "adult" culture. I didn't become aware of that until my twenties, and it was… a little weird to realize that.

Joshua Malina is so good in this. Even when Jeremy is a baffling character, Malina sells it.

So glad this is being covered. A wonderful show. I saw it after watching WW, so it was a fun switch up of Sorkinese. I loved the recycled moments too, such as (SPOILERS FOR A SHOW FROM 1998, I GUESS) the "all you have to do to make me happy is come home." Sorkin doesn't let you forget a good sappy moment.

One of the greatest. I'm so sad I missed several opportunities to see him play. Normally I don't get too upset by the death of people I don't know personally- but I feel like with his death an aspect of Appalachian music is gone. And that is a genuine bummer.

Yeah if there is a bottle of baby oil anywhere nearby this movie is a shoe in for horror of the year.

I meant filthy as in covered in dirt and grime. But yeah, I would believe your version as well. West By God is an odd, odd place.

I didn't see it, but as a West Virginian, I guarantee it wasn't really as filthy as reality.

Hope these reviews do come back. I've enjoyed them. Agreed on the lyric framing device too- it's a nice touch.

Yeah say what you will about Voyager, he was awesome in it. The only way I got my wife (a doctor who loves scifi docs done well) to watch it was to sell her on Picardo. And she loved him.

I agree. I always found that the sad part of the novel, not (SPOILERS, I GUESS) Winston's eventual fate. The society had ruined him already, he had no chance at redemption.
