Just when I was bemoaning the lack of diversity in this show, they introduced a Latina lesbian character! Good job, Supergirl!

Giving Jimmy Cat's job as head of CatCo makes zero sense, just like the abrupt end to his and Kara's relationship. At least he'll hopefully be given more to do than look fit and make sad faces at Kara.

No, Oliver Queen would lie to everyone around him "to protect them".

Hm, I thought of Tom Hardy, too when I saw him. From his facial structure, not his accent. I think "poor man's Tom Hardy" is insulting to the actor.

I would watch it, too, but I like this version of Superman as someone who has his life very much together. He's in a steady relationship with Lois, he's completely comfortable being Superman, and he has a good relationship with Kara/Supergirl. I would hate for them to change any of that for the sake of drama.

So, I know I'll probably regret getting into this, but because they have TWO black characters in an otherwise completely white cast (Kara, Winn, Cat, Alex, Clark, Lena Luthor, new bad guy, new female baddie…not to mention the new pod guy is white and that Max Lord guy…another white) that's ok?

I couldn't get through season 1 of Supergirl. As much as I wanted to like it, the action scenes and CGI were terrible, there was too much of a forced "girl power" message, the transitions from the Supergirl cases to workplace "drama" were jarring, and dialog was pretty awful.

Really sad that they wrote Bobbi and Lance out of the show. Even though they were only introduced last season, they quickly became an integral part of the core team. Bobbi's cool, calm demeanor and awesome friendships with Daisy, May, and Simmons will be missed, as well as her awesome fighting skills. Hunter's

I'm currently binge-ing AOS on Netflix, hopefully in time for the new season, and I am loving it. This episode was great - a neat story about trying to prevent a frightening future outcome while tying it all into the major plot points of the season. I thought the action was great, from the planning of the fight

Not really my type, but he's got some really nice strong arms, which Beth seemed to like as well in that scene on his couch.

So good to have Orphan Black back. I watched it On Demand after watching a very helpful 3 minute refresher video that I highly recommend, since it humorously recaps the previous 3 seasons, not just the last season. It was a nice move to go back to the beginning and have an episode devoted to Beth, whose suicide

Not available on my Sony Bravia, WTF. The only thing on there is Starz Play which doesn't open after I installed it.

You lucky bastard.

I got the impression in the previous episode that the Punisher realized Matt was blind or at least very disoriented, because he came after him from the side to capture him.

I don't think he is evil. He's killing really bad people. You can argue that it's wrong for one man to decide whether someone lives or dies, but he makes a point that most of the people Matt beats up or gets thrown in jail end up back on the streets doing the same thing that got them locked up.

When Matt asks Frank about the idea of hope, Franks responds with "fuck." First time an f word has been said in a Marvel series?

Maybe Melvin thought it would be funny to add the devil horns and Matt never noticed until that rooftop conversation.

You're right about the details of the con. Guess I'm saying it just didn't sit right with me how that scene played out, a little too convenient that the guy showed his two faces in front of Jimmy. Didn't seem very realistic, more of a way for the writers to explain Jimmy's mindset.

Why? He gave Jimmy a job, gave him a real chance, which is more than HHM ever did for him. What did Jimmy do? Went behind their backs and then when he decided he wanted to quit but wanted to keep the bonus? Burned his bridges by pissing people off and getting himself fired.

Hm, guess I'm in the minority, but I hated this episode. I thought the flashback scene was too obvious; the customer takes advantage of Jimmy's dad for a whopping five bucks then uses the money to buy something else; why didn't Jimmy just tell his dad what the guy did?
