i really don't see a difference in quality between blu ray and netflix streaming—although i generally only use netflix to watch tv (i much, much prefer tv to most movies). the only difference i noticed was the blu ray special features on the latest harry potter dvd.

I have to say, the scene where Zoe gave birth and then said she didn't want to hold the baby and Julia took him? Pretty perfectly encapsulated both the agony and the joy of open adoption. Great acting on both of their parts. Seriously.

Whitman is a much better actress. Bledel isn't terrible or anything, but with GG I always felt as though Graham took all the air in the room, just by being the really charismatic and compelling actress that she is. Whitman is a better  match for her. Actually, the whole cast here is pretty damn strong.
