Long-term lesson that Pete learned: tattling will get him nowhere.

I thought The Crash referred to the inevitable moment where Don was going to hit the floor. The whole episode, I was waiting for him to collapse — it seemed as though it were going to happen in all of his scenes. And of course, finally, it did. 
And after his crash, he has snapped out of his Sylvia Obsession and

I just saw the best film of the year . . .
and it was There Will Be Blood. Every part of this film was flawless and contained some of the most stunning cinematography I've seen in a U.S. film in ages. The score, script, acting, editing, direction-everything-is incredible.
