@avclub-c027a095f6633553f8f45a0ce00fd45d:disqus  Unfortunately he (Colton) was ratings gold.  But after he quit (and Jeff seems to really have problems with people who quit) I think some of the shine wore off.  Unfortunately, if they want an obnoxious racist character to boost ratings, I'm sure they'll have no trouble…

Didn't Jeff say in an interview that Colton wasn't really that sick and probably could have continued?  I got the feeling the powers that be were not happy with him.  Hopefully we've seen the last of him.
