She is taking classes at UCD in Dublin.  Thanks for the kind words!

@avclub-a452630477eb936fd36fc9a9542d4598:disqus Thank you.  I was just leaving a brief comment because you mentioned both Italy and Ireland in your posts.  I'm really just about done with commenting on the internet.  While the A.V. Club is better than most sites, it seems there is more and more nit-picking and

@TheTuckPendletonMachine:disqus Sorry, not in the mood.  They did enjoy the usual tourist sites in Rome.  Also Florence and Naples (My daughter is very much into museums and historical type stuff).  I guess they were kind of meh on the accomodations and general friendliness of the locals.

My wife and daughter vacationed in Italy last year and found it kind of Meh.  My daughter is now in Ireland (as a student) and loves it.
This was supposed to go in the vacation discussion but disqus stuck it here instead!

Yeah, apparently last nights ratings were OK also.  I didn't realize how bad NBC's ratings have been since mid-season.  I hope you're right Big John!

Where are the Snowdens of yesteryear?

I thought this episode was OK.  I'm going to be very forgiving of the show this season since it seems to be on its' deathbed.

@avclub-753d0c1b60cc9f7b9717d40dac01a96e:disqus Awwwwwwwwwwwww!  (Sorry, it seems like Shirley and Annie did that about 5 times tonight.  Hang in there!)

Dare I say it?  Jim Rash's mug actually looked pretty good with that blonde head of hair.

Huzzah, Survivor is back!  A good cure for my cabin fever blues.
-Can li'l Hanz out-crazy Phillip?
-Can Malcolm go all the way this time?
-Can Dawn's teeth get any whiter (or her eyes any bluer)?
-I had a feeling poor Franchesca was in trouble as soon as she made the "I'll eat this rock" comment.
-It will be fun to watch

I'm way late to this thread, but good for you Polar Bears.  I found your post too long so I just scrolled past it.  So you tried something creative and not everybody liked.  Good for you for trying.  I'm really tired of all the negativity on the internet these days.

Dude, there was joking earlier in the thread about AV Clubbers giving terrible shows an "A" rating just to be messin' around!  I wouldn't bother wasting my time watching because I'm sure it would be terrible.

Okay, I graded it an "A" (I'm such a rebel).  My sister worked with Jenny at a neighborhood sandwich shop way back when.  McCarthy was there for a few months when she got the call for Playboy.  Sis says she was a nice, kinda quite girl.  Proof that money and a little fame can change a person.

When my brother first started smoking pot, he imagined a little orchestra playing inside his headphones!

I didn't know MILF had become politically incorrect.  If it offends, I will apologize.  I was actually making a reference to 30 Rock which I was watching earlier in the day.

Really sorry to hear of the decline.  So far this has been a very interesting (and extremely sexy) show.  I wouldn't mind being stranded on MILF island with Kerri Russell amirite?

Lisa (needs braces).

Yeah, really liked Philip Seymour Hoffman in this.  In a only a couple of scenes he creates a creepy, snotty, rich kid that has us actually rooting for the murderer (at least for a few minutes).

I thought it was Snoopy's owner CHARLIE Brown that beat up Rihanna…Rats…
