Hah, I thought the same thing as I was typing that!  I fired up the ol' innernets and it looks like he has had some legal issues (surprise).  Most recent was a domestic violence beef in March where he spent some time in jail because he couldn't afford bail.  Oh yeah, he's 44 years old.  Sheesh…

I still watch "Christmas Vacation" every year.  Can't stand any of his other movies.  Chevy should be thankful for "Community" rescuing a very mediocre career.
