Nice analysis.  No need to feel depressed, this was one of the better written shows of it's time.  I'll still watch a re-run from time to time.

I always thought A.J. was good for comic relief.  I do understand people becoming unhappy that his storyline took so much time from season 6A and 6B but I never had a problem with the character.

Dude, my daughter just got me to watch "Firefly" (We're up to episode 5).  What a great show!   I saw they had a 10 year reunion at Comic-Con.  So sad that great show only got one season.

I think up until the end of last season we could still kind of root for Walt vs the Evil Corporate Overlord (Gus).  Now, it's a matter of who survives.  Big Mike?  Skylar?  Saul?  And, is Jesse beyond redemption?
