Agree @avclub-f0063baac3d62f59a0f27e4e9a29471a:disqus. I wonder about the overtness. Is the show really overt or does it start to seem that way after reading all the great analysis on this site?

How 'bout if "Dinnerdog" is a girl she can stay?
I think a lot of his motivation was that he was treated as a man/leader over there, where as in the states he was a failed surgeon. I think that was the point of the scene with the soldier saluting him in the restaurant.
"Hey McRapey, why don't you let that cut under your nose heal?"
@avclub-913d3a7404f98f0ee3766e12e78506fe:disqus It really is good to see Don and Sally relating so well. He treats her like a person and she is mature enough to respond properly. And yeah, the way he signed off the phone call made me say "Awww" also.
@avclub-84ca205fe6bc691c41c3bfe5a2820a15:disqus I agree with all of this except Don's take on Cinderella. Did he say he wanted it or was he just asking why they didn't go with it?
Perhaps "Ginzu" is going places. The guy from the Shoe Company called him a genius.
Will Sally now look forward to Pauline's visits? "When is Grama Seconal coming by again?"
Maybe this is over thinking it but: Don saw the girls leg sticking out from the calf down and Sally would have seen whats her name's leg from the calf down when she Sally) was under the couch.
Race is a tricky thing. Would Dawn have been that offended if Peggy had actually taken the purse? I mean maybe she needed it for girl stuff? Was Dawn more offended because Peggy bent over backwards to not make a big deal out of it?
"I would pay good money for a spinoff where Pauline and Sally drive
around the country in a vintage VW Beetle and try to run cons on
gullible small town folk."
Yes, Sally was great. Todd's idea for a spin-off sounds great too.
Actually I lived in Chicago when the Speck murders occurred (I was 11) and it was…
What did Roger say about the striking workers? "Boo Hoo, they want more wrenches or something."
Right. I know someone who won't watch "The West Wing" because she disagrees with Martin Sheen's politics.
This is why we can't have nice things.
I am Tiger Woods!
I haven't watched it at all, so THERE!
I am Malcom X
Peeps are made of marshmella!!!
The horror, the horror…
