I remember watching MTV News when they went into the studio with Slayer and Ice-T. That song is a medley of Exploited covers (War; UK 82, which became LA 92; and Disorder). The Ice-T interview was priceless. "Yeah, so my record company called me and said they want me to record a song with a metal band, and I'm like

I think he played someone in the Fridays scene in Man on the Moon with Jim Carrey. If memory serves Negron was Michael Richards and Caroline Rhea was Melanie Chartoff

I work at a Holiday Inn and it's on the muzack here. Also "Cantaloop" by Us3. Ironically "Rapper's Delight" is not.

Weird Al turned down a big offer to use one of his songs in a beer commercial because of Silva's death.

Did they rehire Leonard Pierce?

I would give my right arm for a Criterion Blu-Ray of that film. Hopefully it won't come to that, though.

Trogdor the Burninator? Anyone?

I think most of the episodes from that arc are on youtube. One of my favorite things about this feature is that whenever someone who was on Wiseguy gets interviewed Will asks about it. I know that TV Club Classic coverage is too much to ask for, but a feature on Wiseguy would be great… The entire series is streaming

Wiseguy TV Club Classic. Make it happen, VanDerWerff!

Somebody get Jim Gaffigan on the phone, stat!

I hate to be the guy who reads a RR article and just whine about an omission, but I also can't pass up an opportunity to bring up my favorite TV show in the comments, so… What about the Wiseguy TV movie from 96? He was great in that!

I was wondering if someone was going to bring this up. The only thing I remember about it besides the title was Ralphie, Flick, and Schwartz moving a giant refrigerator up a flight of stairs. I totally forgot that that was Jerry O'Connell.

I'm pretty sure it's Sarahs Connor.

I love a lot of the man's work, but wotta douche.

As a North Carolinian I feel it's my duty to tell you that the correct toppings for a hot dog are as follows: Chili, Coleslaw, Onions, Mustard. You may leave some off but not add anything different, although I hear they have made some startling advances in pumpable cheese.

SPOILERS, I guess
An El Salvadorian death squad disappeared Vinny between seasons 3 and 4. He turned up unscathed in the 96 movie saying he had been on wiretapping duty since season 3. The movie completely ignored season 4. As should we all, really.

Denison only briefly replaced Wahl while the latter was injured on the set (the aforementioned arc with Jerry Lewis and Stanley Tucci. Also Joan Chen and Ron Silver. One of my favorite arcs from the series actually). Stephen Bauer replaced Wahl for the 4th season, which quickly went off the rails. Wahl came back

It's life that's a highway. The world is not enough.

Sims is British? That explains so much…
