Now
So the internet is some sort of remedial course for underqualified entertainers? What does Lorne Michaels see in this guy?

No it wouldn't, hammersly, you fucking hack.

No, I don't think the Joker was racist at all.

Oh.

But he is "the only writer of talent," right Hammersly?

Why, whatever could you mean?

Praise Music
My (step)kids go to a different, and much more conservative, church than I do, and they listen to a lot of praise music. It's painfully treacly stuff, and it's odd coming from the kids, considering that their taste is usually pretty good.

I think Noel was referring more to the entertainment side of media than the news side. To the extent that there's a difference.

I do go back a ways…
For these, I went with the albums I play the most. Tough to pick just one in here…

I try to work in "Excuse me, but this is not Elizabethan England and you are not Joseph Stalin" once in a while.

Rose Hips and Valerian Root
Lil Wayne will make a song about rose hips and valerian root, as soon as he can book the Decemberists to help him out.

"Yah mo murdered a lot of people here today."
"They weren't people, James Ingram. They were Jimmy Buffett fans."

Your uncle worked for Casablanca?
I'll bet he's got some stories to tell.

Prima!
It seems half the estate sales you hit have some Louis and Keely, since the middle class young couples all hit Vegas, caught this act and picked up an album as a souvenir. My wife can't resist picking them up, as they remind her of her parents when they were young and almost hip.

You say pet-a-phile, I say pee-tah-phile…

The PETA Files?
They call their blog the "PETA Files"? Someone should explain homophones to them. Or are they just so publicity crazed that they don't care?

I did remember, but this made me forget.
