I'm in total agreement with you, and I'm a huge Knicks fan. Even if Michael had never retired, I still think the Rockets win those championships. The Bulls had no one to stop The Dream, who was seriously dominant, and then you add in a great supporting cast. At minimum, I think they win the 2nd championship, as Clyde

It's pretty compelling if you're a basketball fan. I'm excited for this doc, even though I'm a Knicks fan.

I'm sort of morbidly looking forward to some Bill Laimbeer stories. I mean, he was a monumental dickhead and I hate him so much as a player (sort of like Bill Romanowski), but I can't help but like hearing about him.

I guess I'm far more cynical in re the content provider/consumer relationship. If the AVClub (or any website, really) could make a little more money but do so in a way that would annoy/inconvenience its core audience, it would (and I wouldn't blame them). For example, the redesign annoyed and continues to annoy most

I don't understand this. The ads are still existing, they're just being blocked/I don't have to see them. Ad companies are still paying money, AVClub is still getting money. I never click on ads, anyway, so blocking extremely obtrusive and site-slowing-down ads seems like a no-brainer to me. Do the ad companies know

    Seems like a self-fulfilling prophesy.

Second this. There's at least one outrageous, literal-LOL moment in each episode, usually several.

I always thought that the horse was in reference to the Ford Mustang, but according to wikipedia, 'Hooper the Horse' is a play on horsepower, which I now think is kind of cute.

People look down on adBlock? Who arrrre these people?

    Oh, wow! Thank you!

    That section, rewritten:

Thanks, and I share your opinion about site design and, unfortunately, like every site is doing it, too. Even my go-to weather site, Weather Underground, just unveiled a shitty new design this morning.

Just watched this, and disagree with the reviewer. Not only was the plot not convoluted at all, but to say that the movie 'only intermittently attend[ed] to the sort of acrobatic ass-kicking. . .' is just plain wrong. There are huge and awesome fight scenes throughout the whole movie. There's the mud-prison fight, the

It reminded me of the hallway fight scene from the original Oldboy.

Good point, but how would I locate the previous day's?

Thanks! Good tip about googling; I always use google if I want to search AVClub, anyway, so I'll just use it more (for example, if I watch a movie that came out a while back and want to read AVC's review of it, trying to find it on using this site is pretty much impossible).

Potentially dumb Q to the What's On Tonight? regular posters: how do you quickly find these articles? I know it's probably old hat to complain about the redesign of this site, but it seems like the only way I can find these without bookmarking is to visit the TV Club main page and sort of just hope that it's on there.

You people wouldn't know real beauty if it was outside in the parking
lot taking a crap on all your cars. Which, by the way, it is just seconds away from doing.

'It’s hard to make drinking funny. . .'

(I'm actually being facetious and just need some ideas for my Good Burger prequel fanfiction)
