That sounds like a great plan. I was in Turkey last year, but because it was only a week, and because I'm more interested in the Ottoman aspect, I hunkered down in Istanbul. If/when I return, I'd like to check out Ephesus as well. As with any other major city, keep in mind that there's typically a day each week when

To this day I can still easily hear in my head the horrific piercing sound of Russell Crowe stabbing that guy (can't remember who) to death with the fork. Brutal.

Oh hai Mark.

If a lot of people loved each other, the world would be a better place to live.Oh hai Kumail

If what reportedly happened to Metropolis in Man of Steel and 3rd World Gotham in The Dark Knight Rises is any indication, I just hope the new movie stays the fuck out of my town.

This movie was spoiled for me when, first seeing the trailer, a cop is shot and plunges to his death, and it turned out not to be the trailer for the new RoboCop.

Well look, it's no Chevy Milestone Award, but I guess it's legit

This movie must have been in the works for years at this point. I know Hollywood ageism doesn't affect men nearly the same way it affects women, but Ryan Reynolds is no spring chicken…

Live and Let Dahl

Hell even if he gets the robot part, it'll be a more human role than the one he's given on Newsroom.
At least Sorkin had the decency of writing Mindy out of The West Wing. Bigfoot? Jesus.

I can't say I've seen any of this guy's roles - anyone know if he's any good?

"Dan Bakkedahl turning up as a sexist albino DEA agent"? Will-bo Faggins or GTFO

You know what? Martians. Martians take him, Maggie Grace, Jean Grey, the French detective guy from the first movie who presumably was murdered in the second, and everyone else. Because why not.

They took our…forget it.

I actually enjoyed this movie. There are certainly flaws: the acting isn't extraordinary, 3-D doesn't add anything, the FX aren't revolutionary by any stretch, several annoying plot issues, but I liked the pace, the suspense, the thought of it, and the fact that they were able to show the scale of what was happening

Yea that was pretty odd to see her like that. When she makes an
occasional appearance on a show like Real Time with Bill Maher, she's typically the
most perceptive and eloquent person in the room, but then again, he's a very
different kind of comedian, and people there know exactly what they're getting into.

Either way I dropped the ball on filming my watching partners' reactions during the Red Wedding, and I won't make the same mistake during the Purple Wedding. Anyway, should we start scheduling the ticker tape parade now?

In the past the intrigue has always come from the fact that no one's ever totally sure who murdered who (including the reader), and everyone's more concerned with what the consequences are of the death. I'm thinking of Tyrion's knife attempting to kill Catelyn, Jon Arryn, Robert Baratheon. Whenever/if we do learn of

I liked that we got to revisit some sets we hadn't seen in a while (Castle Black, Balon's living room), and Bran's reaction to Sam telling him about badass Jon Snow was really sweet.
