"…and this, Mr. President, is what it will look like when we overthrow Saddam and liberate Iraq."

I think this goes along with the pattern of the GoT showrunners filling in the blanks with even more gruesomeness than even the books contain (arrivederci Ros!). The more I think about it, the dirtier it comes off to me, but as we see, it can still be very effective and emotional.

*please

I love that the first shot of him at the reception is him looking up at the band. *sooooon*

Yea, but who hasn't?

I'm finding myself pretty impressed with him actually - he knew immediately that he needed help after hopping off the wagon, and took the personal initiative to get it. I can't think of another example of a celebrity with that level of self-awareness or discipline when it comes to drug abuse.

Looks like I missed the news that Ignatiy Vishnevestsky has been writing for the AV Club for a month now, and I'm totally on board with this.

"The only way to stop a bad guy with a sweet car is a good guy with a sweet car."

I wouldn't be surprised if some of John Cho's annoyed-Sulu character personality came from the fact that he basically has nothing to do here. Yea, J.J., Captain Sulu, we get it. Jesus.

But Nucky, I want to be an actress!

True, though that would mean McKinnon wouldn't be able to do much else, and she saves every sketch she's in.

And on top of an overall badass episode, extra props to Emilia Clarke for absolutely owning the Valyrian lines - brings one back to the good ol' days of her speaking Dothraki.

I love Bluff the Listener, though I always feel bad for the "lucky" contestant who gets picked for it…

Yes! He's back to doing them nowadays too.

I only know this because I occasionally scour the Fathom Events site for the next Star Trek: TNG airings…

Looks like they finally found something to do with the The Event's second season that never happened.

I happened to really enjoy the council meeting and the chat about Littlefinger and the Vale, to the extent that I watched it about 3 times. It was very reminiscent of the book in which they go off on a conversation and expect the viewer/reader to figure out what they're talking about and put everything together.

Looking forward to Larry David guest starring, accidentally eating the monkey-shaped cookie, not realizing it was R'hllor, the Lord of Light.

Habemus fapfapfapam

I remember when I saw the movie, the actor looked so familiar, but I couldn't quite place a name to the face. But I KNEW who this guy was. When I finally looked it up and saw Bowie's name, I believe my head exploded.
