…that Mr. LaBeef was using words written by somebody else…oh…wait…

Strictly speaking, shouldn't that be merda taurorum?  I dunno. It seems to me you are the eggspurt…Ohai, Marcus…I'll have a warm scotchka…no ice.

Ohai, Kyle…you're the expert *laughs inappropriately*

Aside from that…how's your sex life?

…or nooks and crannies.

The stand-alones are superb but the First Law trilogy is what I read first and I think it's a good introduction to Abercrombie's world.

Yeah…but isn't that what would actually happen? The look she gives Sherman, as if to say 'are you gonna bust me?' and Sherman's deadpan 'lady, I don't give a fuck; I'm beat' look cracked me up.

Yeah, that was my take, too. Cooper's live-in bailed a couple of episodes ago and i had the impression that Cooper's looking for a relationship, not just some fuck-bunny.

i was vaguely aware of G.R.R Martin and had (unforgivably) assumed that he was one of those swords-and-sorcery hacks like the criminally talentless David Eddings et al…then I watched the first season of Game of Thrones.

The Guard was a terrific film; great performance from Gleeson. I didn't realise that it was directed by Martin McDonagh's brother.

Nah…it's a BBC doc…Life In The Freezer.

I heard that he's got fat in places where you don't even have places…

d00d, you will fucking love it…talk about just retribution. Watch it HERE.

Whodo?

Where the fuck is Miles Davis' version of Love For Sale? Or The Flying Lizards cover of Money? Ah, well…de gustibus non disputandum est and all that happy-clappy, cumbaya bullshit…

Yeah…it's a tough act to follow. I enjoyed Seven Psychopaths; there were some good things in it like, as you say, the graveyard shoot-out and Walken's laid-back dognapping scam…but I wanted (foolishly, I know) it to be In Bruge Goes To America…or something: and it wasn't.

I felt the same way. In Bruges was a gem and I wanted Seven Psychopaths to be, too: sadly, it wasn't. It wasn't bad but it was unsatisfying. I mean:

The Fabulous Thunderbirds! Yeah! I saw them play a biker bar in Providence R.I. in the late 70s and it remains one of the best live shows I ever saw.

Damn! I was thinking the exact same thing. A look at two egomaniacal douchebags flushing themselves down the toilet. I think the difference is that Newcombe is genuinely talented…whereas Troy Whatsisface was just 100% pure douche-o-rama, front, back and middle.

Say what you like about Hitler…but when he went on tour, people sat up and noticed.
