The trailer sold this as a Crystal/Midler star vehicle but your review is so focused on Crystal that I can't tell if that's the actual structure of the film or your slant in reviewing. Is Midler supposed to be Tomei's mother or stepmother in the film because the way you've written this it could be read both ways.

Love Under the Blacklight as it was my intro to Rilo Kiley (caught on pretty late, unfortunately), but a track like "Dejalo" may be my least favorite in their discography. Not terrible, but a sore thumb in an otherwise solid album.

They've definitely done great stuff since then (Road House, Sleepaway Camp, Liz & Dick), but Smith really sucked the energy out of the room. The only episode without replay value, hands down.

The "Simpsons Tall Tales" episode isn't anything great, but it has some solid laughs with the very quotable hobo character ("I'm not a stabbing hobo, I'm a singing hobo!").

Um, that's not the opening credits for To Kill a Mockingbird. Image is right but that's not Elmer Bernstein's score and you don't have any of the sound effects of the child humming, etc.
