She did say she wanted to grow out her leg hair in preparation for Tony but before they could film it she had to shave to go to an award show so that kind of explains some of the hair issues.

Well, Mark's still alive and their are probably more Castors out there.
I find it hard to believe she'll turn on Coulson based where they left things in the finale. Other then her Calvary story she's still a static character to me. If anyone is likely to turn it'll be Simmons based on whatever happened to her at the very end, and even before that she was going rouge trying to kill Ward.
"I'm the guy who kills Gordon" was pretty cool. May and Coulson seem okay by the finale though so we'll seee if any of that carries over.
I actually was partly sad to see Gonzales go he criticized old SHIELD in ways that were mostly fair and valid. Early on some were looking for that sort of thing but SHIELD didn't do anything shady because they had to look better then HYDRA before TWS reveals.
Oh Lost was structured and did character work very well. Two of their writers went on to do OUAT which still uses the structure in most episodes but after S1 you can tell when they had a shiny new plot idea and just abandon what came before both plot and especially character wise and/or pull out a plot device to solve…
You have fair points. At the same time though it kind of embodies the show still being unsure of how to balance typical spy intrigue (Coulson) with the superheros of the world (now Skye). Add to this the mystery pacing in S1 was terrible for both Skye's story and Coulson's resurrection but they improved in that areas…
It has strengths and weaknesses. Looking at another Whedon show, Buffy usually gave all it's characters some level of character arc each season so while it was centered on Buffy, she never overbalanced the core of the show on herself. SHIELD still needs to learn this. There's a narrative struggle between if Coulson or…
it started off strong and still did consistently well enough later to get renewed in the first batch of strong shows. It went down later on but not majorly so. It should premiere decently again but the real test will be towards midseason.
There is some overlap with film schedules I think but since he's a supporting character on both (I think) they can probably work around it. They shot episodes 2 and 3 of OB first this season, so it would work with Cal and Delphine both being on other shows.
It comes back July 6th with Penn & Teller guesting. Counting that episode they have 15 still unaired which should take them to just before this starts if they aired one every week from July to October. But they like to use it as padding when gaps appear. The last season aired from March to November.
I enjoyed this too. Next season I want someone to finally impersonate Helena preferably Alison, in some kind of eating scene.
Heh. I think the show has enough sci-fi in it without doing cyborgs or aliens or time travel.
Fair points. Looking at it now I can see why some may think it was a waste of time. Alison is by far my favorite so I'm biased and think the comedic moments were still worth it and part of me hopes she never does have any real consequences because I like the character so much. But Jason could still be a threat. The…
I don't think the show means to portray drug dealing as a good thing but so far Alison's suffered no negative consequences from that, while her addiction seems to have been brought on by the stress of being a clone, while it may not wok like this in real life, she seems over it now that most of that stress is gone.…
True, but this was a lot more serious stakes and it would seem repetitive if Shay was a mole after all. I doubt narrative-wise they would go to the trouble of hiding the shooter if it was just Shay. They revealed Donnie with the gut-punch Aynsley died for no reason. The shooter has to be another gut-punch so not Shay…
It was basically shown at the dinner party. The seestras make each other feel normal, Alison's the closest one to an average life and is mostly undisturbed by the larger scheming. She's a version of what the other clones want for themselves, if you asked them I'm pretty sure they'd say Alison has it the best right…
Fair point. But Bulldog was supposed to give them some of the DNA. They apparently have enough men in Dyad to abandon Delphine so if they really wanted taking Cosima won't be hard. Maybe now they will, or Scott could say some of the samples were "ruined" by accident and send them off that way.
Let me make it more demented: Scott didn't want Felix near Rachel and didn't like her being bullied by him. Maybe Susan got with another man after Ethan and is Scott's mother. Making him Rachel's Dark Felix!
Helena can mood swing from murderous to funny to child-like. This actor somehow pulled off comedic murder with childish glee all at once!
