Cool! I loved that movie too…
Thanks!
Continuing to enjoy this series… I'm overly familiar with these artists so far, (thanks Missouri roots!) but my appreciation of this genre - specifically the early eras - makes these a great read, sprinkled with tasty nuggets and a newcomers newfound interest.
I agree with you Big Wheel… and I don't recall Eisner getting much lip-service in the ads. A little, but moreso with MILLER…. 300… TDK… BLAH BLAH BLAH
OH, also - I finally picked up and watched (and enjoyed) Quantum Of Solace on DVD and realized that Beckett is the Canadian agent at the very end.
Right on, Noel. Glad you enjoyed it… and hey, a fella can dream can't he!
Decent
Pretty good episode, I'm coming around to enjoying this show more and more. Then again I'm going to destroy all my credibility by saying I also enjoy Two & A Half Men. Life is a pain in the ass and I don't particularly love my job so some mindless Monday night laughs are perfect for me.
He could. But he's not that tall either.
Shane Black rules… was just watching the additional features on my Predator 2-disc DVD and put it together that it was THE Shane Black. Pretty cool.
Robocop should never, ever, ever be remade.
Planet Terror is unstoppable awesomeness. Death Proof was okay. Worst thing QT has done since Four Rooms.
It's a fucked up world
we live in where Dane Cook has a couple extra mil laying around to steal.
If you compare someone like say, Jim Shooter to the way editors are today, its totally different… this moreso applies to dealing with 'top talent' (writers usually, no one really gives a fuck about artists in comics). Except they think everyone is top talent and wants to be their buddy rather than their boss.
Lot of hate for Wahlberg, I think he's well enough at what he does and has been involved in some damn good movies. The only time I thought he out and out sucked was in "The Happening" — but that movie was pure shit so I place the blame on the ego of M. Night Shamalamadingdong.
Goldeneye > almost all. Still.
Best line in the movie…. full of quotables!
That DON'T trailer was awesome! Are all the trailers going to be included on the supposedly up-and-coming version of "Grindhouse"?
All it takes is a tablespoon of water….
It doesn't really ease up much either… or at least it didn't for me, and I'm "Mr. Clean Driving Record"…
Girls like that only exist in Tarantino's imagination. And my fiance. Then again, maybe she's part of my imagination… onwards…
Ditto.
