As an analysis of the new universe, I am pretty disappointed in this article. I think it's pretty obvious that the first three issues don't live up to the potential, but if you read the complete series of PSI-Force, DP7, Star Brand and Justice, you'll see that they all turn into excellent, even outstanding comic

Regarding Billy Idol: Look, bein' cyber has nothin' with robots necessarily; the main thing is that you flame your own dad.

Since no one seems to be saying it. Nowhere Men is awesome and I am glad AVclub is covering it. I find it way more interesting than the Infinity stuff, and the Infinity stuff is about 50% of the good stuff the big two are putting out right now.

Yeah I knew him from Damages and BB only, which was a huge contrast—I didn't realize he was Doug until this interview.

Jesse is going to be fine.  In my favourite episode 'down' he goes through some tough shit, but still restrains himself from killing/beating Walter.  The point of the episode is that Jesse is fundamentally a good and resilient person—I think it was also intended to foreshadow his arc.

The best episode is 'down.'  Sums up the whole show, and amazingly, does it without very much Walt.

Yes. Yes.

As I noted above, it's child support, not alimony, which is obviously different, if you're not a fool.

Actually, you are wrong, because he owed child support, not alimony.  A significant difference.  But I guess wanting money to raise your kids while your ex pulls down hollywood sitcom money makes you a "bitch."

Hey Dikachu, I think you got lost on your way to the MRA forums.

M&D is the only one I have had real trouble with, but it also scared me of ATD, which I haven't attempted.  I've read and loved all the others (even Vineland!)  I think chrono order is good, but switching V and 49 isn't a terrible idea.

C'mon there's a lot of other stuff in IV beyond the shaggy dog noir.  I think you're short selling it.

Pikes are underrated.  "Hopes go astray" is great contrast with the sweet melody and depressing lyrics, similar to a lot of their songs.

Holy cow, Burl is an old canadian!

14 songs was also my intro, so I like it quite a bit.

Cause they broke up by the time the Wedge came on the air, and the Wedge mostly played new stuff.

Yeah fair enough, but I think Wool and Skinner are big enough deals that they should get in.

Not sure where else to put this so FWIW:

You should look at 'The superior foes of spider man' it's a book focusing on some B&C level villains.  It's interesting because it avoids the dichotomies you describe above.  These guys aren't world beating geniuses or psychopaths, they're more like lazy cowards looking for a quick score, like you would expect your

I agree.  I like some of Heller's recommendations, but as soon as he starts talking about how the band acted, or their personalities, it's pretty much a guarantee I won't like the band.
