Okay, I NEED that Sam Phillips rendition of "Makin' Whoopee."

…oh god, we're the Enlightened hipsters

Gilmore Girls is FINALLY being covered. Unleash the strummy lalas!

IT LIVES!

Everyone watch Bunheads tonight.

Kay.

I know this is likely verging on being annoyingly pushy, but for anyone needing any further indication of the show or even incentive,  you can check out a couple more scenes from some of the show's very best episodes below.

Hell, even season one's finale demonstrated the little steps she'd taken. Instead of melting down after being  lampooned in front of her former associates, she reacts with a newfound composure and channels her rage into being driven towards something new.

It's such a great way to confirm wether someone has actually watched Enlightened, or is just threatened by the imaginary possibility in which it dethrones their own personal favourite for acclaim. Probably both.

I wonder if Vick even will show up. Upon seeing this headline, s/he might've actually died.

As part of the tiny, tiny brigade that followed this show from its pilot and adored the first season, it's so cool (and satisfying) to see it finally receive the proper recognition.

@djf881, I really, *really* don't think most people see Amy as a hero. The reason people "root" for Amy is because we're allowed to understand her. Especially in season one, the show demonstrated how complex a person she is and in doing so, earned the character a tremendous amount of sympathy. She fucks up

I think it applies to all of Enlightened's guest directed episodes.

A return to Amy's interpersonal relationships, gorgeous direction by Todd Haynes and score by Mark Mothersbaugh? Easily my favourite episode in season 2 so far.

trololololol

Ratings fell under a million last night. I think it's safe to say we can "look forward" to a series finale in two weeks. :(

Character study Enlightened is the best Enlightened. Loved this episode and just how painfully true to itself it was in being awkward as hell. Oh Tyler, shit is about to hit the fan.

the brilliant teaser scene for anyone wishing to see it

The turtle callback  in the "The Key" suggested a
darker,  more ominous future, contrasting majorly with the pilot's promising and hopeful one.
