I can never tell how many of those decisions are dictated by DC and completely out of the writers' hands. I understand that at the time they introduced GL in the Superman cartoon, in the comics Kyle was GL and Hal was a villain, so I guess they didn't want to confuse kids that might want to read the comic after seeing

The GL Corps plan of "everyone blast him at once, screw the planet" is pretty boneheaded too.

Couple of friends of mine got Clancy Brown to record their out-of-office voicemail message as The Kurgan when they worked at a toy company that was producing talking Spongebob watches.

It would move me to tears… If I still had tears to shed.

So many misfires in Battle For The Cowl. I didn't like the suddenly-psycho version of Jason Todd, considering he just had a stint as Red Robin a year before. Also, I was looking forward to the Two-Face Batman they teased in the promo art, only to find out it was a hallucination.

All I'm saying is, when we split the cheque three ways the steak-eater picks the pocket of the salad-man.

You left too early. The mid-credits sequence was pretty funny.

I'm hoping there's a lot of footage coving that timespan that will make it on the dvd. I loved the movie, but thought it was a shame most of the huge set piece fights took place in dark/rain/underwater settings. I wanted longer scenes of the ones like the flashback and newsreel stuff. The crab Kaiju that attacked

"even those who love Lee’s voice rightfully cringe when he raps on the title track."
You make it sound like the rap portion of that song was in Lee's trademark high voice. It's so digitally altered, there's no telling at all that it came from Lee.

I think Moving Pictures is a better album for the uninitiated. The first side of the album is all radio hits, and the second side are three of their best songs that never get radio play. If you want to go with a severely underrated album, give Presto a try. Also, most importantly, if you haven't seen Rush play live,

I actually watched every episode of DBZ, DBGT, and all of the movies. Then a couple of years ago, my kids started getting into it though reruns on Nick, so I had to be the one they came to with questions on every single thing.

Unless I missed it, I'm surprised Jonny Quest did not make this list. Otherwise, Jim Rash was basically reading my mind and saying everything I ever liked or disliked about Saturday Morning Cartoons.

Ha ha! Guard! Turn! Parry! Dodge! Spin! Ha! Thrust!

We had American Bandstand right after cartoons. Soul Train came on later in the afternoon. Then Solid Gold after that.

I'm also a 70s kid, so I remember pretty much every cartoon on this list. Starting off with Superfriends and winding down with Bugs Bunny was a Saturday morning ritual. Then if it was raining outside, just kept that TV train rolling with Channel 11 afternoon movies that usually included a Godzilla or Harryhousen

Also, he is a super-shitty writer. Read Less Than Zero a long time ago, and it was garbage. Loved the movie version of American Psycho, so thought I'd give the book a try, and nope, it was also garbage.

It wasn't just a "kind of" stance, Bellisario stated in an interview when this show aired that he was a firm believer in the "Oswald as only shooter" theory, and I believe came up with this episode as a contrast to the JFK movie.

How about an Astrosniks movie?

Quite a far cry from ten years ago, when the rumors were that Marvel was going to cancel the 616 continuity titles and go strictly with Ultimate comics.

Exactly. Forget that overhyped Yeezus and Jay Z shit, this is the best hip-hop album of the year (so far).
