I love that in KOTH, he always looks like late-70s-era Chuck Mangione, no matter what his actual age is

I thought AoU was a freaking mess. Ten issues to get to a lousy Spawn-crossover payoff.

Wish they would bring back Dial H as a Vertigo title

Considering the "5-year" timeline the new 52 laid out inexplicably still has four Robins, I'm sure at that time Batman had already discarded Dick and moved onto Jason.

On top of all the cool golden-age style action, there's a really sweet love story as well. The drawing of the still-together elderly Jetlad and Wulf on the inside back cover brings a tear to my eye.

The 49ers is one of the best graphic novels of the past ten years or so. You really don't even have to read Top Ten first to follow it, but it wouldn't hurt.

Unrelated, but Batman has showed up a couple of times in the new Teen Titans Go series, just for comedic effect. I didn't want to like this new show, but I have to admit it's pretty funny, especially the Wonder Twins episode.

Nightwing also had a split-second cameo in one episode.

I miss not having Robin save the day, and the cartoon also didn't have that great moment of Superman yelling Mongul's name when he figured out what was going on, but it's still a fantastic adaptation. My favorite part of this episode was Superman's reaction to Mongul's "happy prison" remark.

It's like Seth McFarlane saw that bit and decided to make a whole show around it. What if we took the Simpsons, but upped the "random pop-culture insertions" quotient by a factor of 10,000?

Pretty sure it was all meant to be a joke. Most of those were so over the top, I seriously doubt there was any malice behind it. Speaking personally, I think Nashville is a great place to visit, had a lot of good times there.

That's not a word. You have no idea what this means do you?

I'd seriously watch a movie called Hanukkapocalypse

Daredevil wasn't as bad as it's reputation makes it out to be. Maybe half of a good movie, not a complete waste like Green Lantern.

It wasn't just talk, they almost filmed the awful thing. You can see the horrible costume test pics with Cage online, as well as the "why are the doing this?" Starlight Express costume that Supes was supposed to wear at the end of the movie.

Seems like it wasn't that long ago that she swore off comedies, trying to angle for serious roles. Guess that didn't last.

Because she's got a GREAT ASS! And you've got your head ALL UP IN IT!

See you at the party!

The "Fucked Up and Photocopied" book they show in this has a lot of cool old flyers in it, but honestly what could be less punk than selling a book of punk flyer reproductions for $40?
