Really surprised the Phoenix Trial didn't make this list.

True, my statement was not built on any facts. But I still don't see any winning scenario in their reboot. Batman and GL just sidestepped it and kept old continuity for the most part, and most of the better new titles like Animal Man, Swamp Thing, Frankenstien, or Dial H would have worked pre-Flashpoint.

I wonder if the "New 52" continuity had anything to do with Young Justice's premature cancellation?

This has been stated before, but I don't think the gamble paid off. I'm willing to bet DC lost twice as many long-time buyers than they gained in new ones.

I know it gets a lot of praise already, but I have to say "The Nearness of You" from Astro City #1/2 is probably one of the greatest single-issue stories ever penned.

Can't remember the comedian or talk show host that made this joke, but I got a chuckle out of the mocked-up cover to "Jennifer Aniston will die childless and alone" magazine

Ha, that was awesome!

I love that Usual Suspects clip. I use that line at work when the soda fridge runs out.

you're naht taking me to da coolah

Although I wasn't a fan of the million-to-one blood-type coincidence that brings Batgirl into the story, the whole organ-harvesting part of the plot is kind of dark for a kid's cartoon.

There's a scene in Sub Zero where Batman is either arriving or leaving in the CGI batplane, and a terrible-looking CGI Alfred is walking up. He looks like one of the guys in the "Money For Nothing" video from the mid 80s.

The "You may experience some momentary discomfort" line he parroted back to the doc he killed near the end was one of his best moments.

Cheese: Yet Panther had no problem throwing in with Namor in New Avengers. I know he threatened to kill him, but I find it hard to believe he'd even go through with a temporary truce.

Good lord was that a shitty movie

Agreed. It's almost getting ridiculous how many inventively-crazy psychos are carving up people in the greater Baltimore area in just that short of a time span.

I assumed the doc wasn't going to keep hiding that info from Will, especially given that he was administering another brain scan.

Who follows wet footprints into a room? If you see that shit, get the fuck out of the house.

I gotta say, the shots of her hiding under beds or peering in through windows creeps me out way more than the all the gory dismemberment scenes this show trots out.

With the plastic overcoat and the slicked-back hair, he kind of looked like Patrick Bateman. All that scene needed was some Huey Lewis.

Kyuss>QOTSA, in my opinion.
