There was one more album before their hiatus (Post Electric Blues), which is worth checking out. Make Another World is probably my least favourite, though might need to give it another shot.

Ah of course, I knew I was missing a band or two. Supergrass in particular are definitely a personal favourite.

Different Class by Pulp is probably your best bet.
Britpop as a whole had a lot of shit, but there's a handful of amazing bands/albums from that era (Elastica, Blur, Pulp, the first two Oasis albums and their b-sides compilation).
