YOU TAKE THAT BACK

It would have been an entertaining movie, I'm positive of that. Whedon carries a lot of labels, but the one thing people tend to forget is that his pop instincts are impeccable. Sarah Michelle Gellar wasn't on the cover of every magazine from 1997-2003 for nothing, Avengers wasn't a hit for nothing. The story itself

I think the stakes have just been raised. You've got the success of Batman, you've got the Avengers. Now they know they're looking at billions of dollars if they do it right or nothing if they screw it up. Just money, again.

Compare it to any other January action movie (this year's, for example), and you'll see why it was liked, especially by the critics who sit through every terrible movie released in a year. It wasn't the second coming, but it deserved the appreciation it got.

Terrible advertising is why I missed out on The Informant! for years. I've ignored the marketing for his films ever since.

The closeups of penetration were filmed with porn actors, not the stars.

Not enough info for you to pre-judge? Boy are you in the wrong place.

Eh, can she act? Starring in a nighttime soap opposite Madeline Stowe's Plastic Surgery is not faith inspiring.

I got that bitch some rape revenge. Bitches love rape revenge.

Casting Reynolds was the only good decision they made about that movie. What the problem with him? In a Justice League movie you're going to need his personality to balance out Superman and Batman's stodginess.

Superman fans, while possessing clearly questionable taste, are an enduring bunch, and combined with the inevitable season-long advertising blitz, it'll do just fine.

I can see Lindelof getting hired once (basically on accident, anyone with enough perseverance will get a shot), but I honestly do not understand why people continue to hire him. Especially talented people. When Brad Bird or Ridley Scott hires him, it's like finding out your super attractive, friendly, smart friend is

If they made one that was actually good I'd be down. How about Quentin Tarantino directs Alice in Wonderland reimagined as a revenge fantasy.

Dexter is caught and sent to federal prison. Surrounded by other murderers, he's finally free to kill whoever he wants, whenever he wants. It's paradise for him. The end.

Plotwise Season 3 may have been weak, but Jimmy Smits is so good in it, it's enough to make it a keeper for me.

It was not used well; it was overused. Some parts of Star Trek are like having a spotlight shined in your eyes.

The little piece of my soul that dies every time I hear the name Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian doesn't count, I suppose.

"It would be a stretch to draw comparisons between this inspired, overachieving drive-in fodder and Walk The Line"
