@Teo: I was kind of let down by that one. Also, the Indie Rock Police will be asking us to leave since we are discussing jazz on the A.V. Club.

I was a strip-club enthusiast in my 20s. The weirdest songs I heard were Yes' "Heart of the Sunrise" (thank you Vincent Gallo/Buffalo 66) paired with "Tom Sawyer" by Rush (come on, how is a woman supposed to dance in 7/8?).

Silly gooses (geese?) JPJ is the only member of Zep who didn't sign a deal with the devil. As a result, he does string arrangements for Peter Gabriel and REM, makes records with Diamanda Galas and looks 20 years younger while Plant can't sing, Page works with Diddy and Bonham is dead.

You mean Phil Lynott?

@Eddie Deezen : That would be "Disorderlies"

Try Janet Jackson.

Wouldn't a real Chicago station play nothing but Howlin' Wolf, Buddy Guy and Willie Dixon?

I think Wernham-Hogg should buy them out.

Careful or that feminist from last week's discussion will berate you.

"so its relevant!"

The history mentions actress Vivica B. Fox, one of the celebs on Donna's mural.

No cable in new house and I'm lucky if I can get NBC in, so I haven't seen it for a few weeks. I want to like it because Late Night was an important part of my late teens/20s/early 30s. It seems as though it might take a little while for them to find their footing.

Prince playing basketball.

Solution…
I hear Scott Weiland is looking for a band.

"Steer clear of Roland."
Would you reccomend Yamaha or Korg instead? Maybe Nord?

She and Mark are the straight men that the crazies bounce off of. I hope they give her some opportunities to be the funny woman in the future.

I agree, give Donna more to do.

@zircona1 : Whenver Hall and Oates comes on the radio or brought up in conversation, my wife imitates Beavis and say "Whoah its Geraldo!"

I'm a bass player and for some reason last summer, I got a wild hair to start reseaching T-Bone Wolk and ended up listening to a lot of Hall and Oates. Well crafted pop songs and that 80s band with Wolk, G.E. Smith, Mickey Currey and the goofy looking guy who doubled on sax and keys made for a pretty badass band.…
