I second the Spinderella show. HAWT!

What you really need to do is get the recordings their lead guitarist Nels Cline made as a leader under the name The Nels Cline Singers.

Apparently Candyfloss missed Nels Cline's incredible solos in that song.

@Preparation Heche: As someone of Italian heritage, thank God!

For Squirrels

"Everything is Everything"- Donny Hathaway

My Favorites Are From the 50s and 60s.
"In Cold Blood" - Quincy Jones with jazz bass legend Ray Brown.

An article about Jay Bennett has been around for a day…
…and nobody has bad-mouthed Nels Cline yet?

I support Cynic's idea!

Aw yes, the Golden Turkey Awards. That was done by film reviewer turned Rush Limbaugh wannabe, Michael Medved.

Prole Hole, I'm guessing you are from England where "nappy" refers to diapers?

Come On…
No love for the new Dave Holland Sextet record?

@arseino: Playing root notes is (sadly) pretty much what rock bass players do. Although I would point out "Mean Streets" and even "Right Now' as evidence that he's a good bass player.

"Steve Miller was some of the sorriest shit I've ever heard" - Miles Davis

I liked Stranger than Fiction.

@The Quirk: Terry Sweeny.

I didn't hate "Million Dollar Baby", but it was definitely manipulative. It also felt like someone smashed "Rocky 5" together with "Whose Life is it Any Way?"

Why'd they have to louse up a perfectly serviceable wagon painting story with all that fruity singing?

I actually enjoyed both of those commentaries.
