That's the thing, there's a chance I'm wrong on the host, which makes tracking the episode down difficult.

Can somebody please identify this sketch for me? It's been haunting me for years and I've combed Netflix and SNL Transcripts to find it:

This Ain't Over
I was (and still am) obsessed with the movies of charles bronson.

"I didn't have a high school reunion because the boat I was educated on sank"

"Wow, you'd make a good armed robber."
Get that printed on your business card, Rabin.

Mr. Rabin, a question regarding Akroyd
Is he any good in this movie? I kind of think he's due for a rennisance. He seems to have mostly retired from movies, but I think he could do well in supporting roles.

As I mention somewhere below, I hate when Carey acknowledges how crappy the prizes are.

I want to like Dew Carey, but he is no Bob Barker. At least the shows I saw, Carey would nervously tug at his suit jacket pocket the entire time.

Holy shit, I have seen Carny.

I can't post a new comment for some reason, so I'll hijack this thread for a moment: Although by all standards I should love it, I really, really don't like Fight Club.

Actually coffee is underrated.

Yeah, I never liked Buffy at all either, but I don't feel guilty for it.

I hate Family Guy, but I will admit that they occasionally put together a really good, snappy musical number.

Crash Test Dummies, bitch!
"And God Shuffled His Feet". Allmusic describes CTD thusly:
"With their clever, smug lyrics and cloying folk-tinged melodies, the Crash Test Dummies were a perfect rock band for affluent '90s college students and yuppies. "
