Somebody!
Somebody!
Didn't they do a "Block & Tackle" on here about what a total disaster Simms is as an announcer? He spouts idiocy more easily than anyone this side of Trump. I can see him at dinner saying, "The key to these mashed potatoes is momentum."
"…and LOOK who's coming up!"
As soon as I saw this article on the main page, the Teenage Fanclub-De La Soul song popped in to my head, despite the fact that I haven't listened to it in probably 20 years. "Fallin'" is a great song and worth watching the video in the article to get a listen.
I feel sorry for anyone who can't enjoy "Positive Bleeding." I love that damn song.
The non-album version of that song kicks serious ass. I had it on cassingle (yup!) and loved/still love it.
Count me in that group!
This is the greatest story ever. Thanks for sharing, Dawg.
How 'bout "Stronger Things: Barb's Revenge"?
I don't know where that word, "glibilization," came from, but if you made it, you are an astute genius. That is exactly the problem with sports shows, which are less about the sport and any thoughtful analysis and more about the "personality" and "hot takes" and all that crap. As much as I enjoy PTI, it has bred too…
This was fantastic. Al was funny but also gracious with a little edge. No wonder I continue to think he's awesome.
Sounds exactly like my dad. He basically just wants to be mad at someone regardless of the consequences.
That was definitely the primary reason for the disappearance. On a positive side note, it gave him a lot of time with family and to just try to enjoy life. I'm annoyed people pin Carvey as purely an impressionist because he's really damn funny. Yes, his movies have been weak, but he has that absurd take that would…
My favorite scene in that movie:
Head Abe- Abraham Lincolns!
Lincolns- Yeah!
Head Abe- It's time to free your blades!
Seemed like she didn't recognize "Don't Worry, Be Happy" either. Both the title and song itself were perfect for the contrast with the Halloween score.
No problem. Sorry if my comment sounded angry - no offense intended! :)
The article states, "The family sitcom has tenants that must be upheld…" I think you meant to write, "tenets." And, yes, this show is deserving of a much bigger audience.
Can you guys please spell Richard's last name correctly in these reviews? He's not Jimi's nephew, he's "Hendricks."
"She" is such a damn good song! Dolenz has a fantastic voice and kills it on that tune.
Does that movie get the love/respect it deserves? It certainly doesn't get the fame it deserves.
