The "aol keyword" touch takes this show from awesome to perfect. Everything they do, they pay such attention to detail that it really requires hyper-attentive viewing multiple times over. Keep it up, Nick Kroll.

Agree with most of the other comments here that the show itself isn't the draw, it's that Kinnear is so much fun to watch regardless of the material. Here's hoping it finds a better rhythm as the season progresses so the show can rise up to Kinnear's level and stick around. At the rate it's going, I can't see it…
I remember reading about that in Rolling Stone or Spin the week after it happened and being so pleased to see that as she walked offstage, Kris Kristofferson told her something along the lines of, "To hell with them." I agree that it was pretty much the ultimate hypocrisy shown that night by the people in attendance.
Which makes his casting all the more amazing - the guy could be the sweetest guy in the world and for him to not only play, but excel at playing, such a jerk is a tribute to the dude's skill. Really, whoever cast this movie was brilliant because (at least in my mind's eye) I can't think of a character that didn't…
While I wouldn't call it the definitive Whigs' song, I'm glad it's yours since it is a good tune. Hard to pick just one. Debonair, perhaps?
To paraphrase Greg Dulli, "This must be what Heaven is like." And to quote Bob Odenkirk, "Kick ass!"
We know neither "walk the plank"…
Simplest answer: Watch "A Hard Day's Night" with him/her, and if he/she still doesn't "get" them, then it ain't gonna happen.
Ray, is that you? I looked for you on Compuserve and couldn't find you so I gave up. Still using your Vic-20?
We hate it when our friends become successful…using our lyrics and another guy's comic strips.
So the lawyers asked them to take it down right away, as in now, and the TCC site runners asked, "How Soon is Now?" and got sued again.
I totally agree. When I saw that, I thought, "Was there a joke there that I missed?" But it does seem to fit the MacFarlane model of "making references = humor" with no attempt at an actual or original joke.
Like a show like that would ever exist, gimme a break!
Regarding the "it's free" line, I haven't seen the show, but I'm assuming we're supposed to like Mull's character and laugh WITH him. Corddry's character in H&K2 is supposed to be an ass that we laugh AT. Big difference when it comes to any sort of "-ist" humor.
Since this falls in the AV Club's "Watch This" series, I'm assuming they want to inspire you to watch it and not spoil it for the person who hasn't viewed it yet. I think they give enough to either make you want to watch it or not. If you just want all the details, I'm sure you can find that somewhere on the…
I'm sure it's already been noted somewhere below, but how was Midnight Run passed up?
I want to tell this movie my shoes are tight.
Don't you see Dikachu is starting a joke about not liking the song? What's the punchline?
And considering the Jamaicans swept the sprints at the track world championships.
I don't think people will ever forget "The Running Mann"!
