James Franco has lived in the Hollyweird bubble since he was a teen. He has no idea where our "culture is."

So there's going to be remakes of "The Idolmaker" and "Wiseguy." If they continue along the Ray Sharkey career arc we should get a remake of "Cop and 1/2" any day now.

Ken Wahl is definitely alive.

It seriously was, especially since downtown Vegas has that dumb tarp over it now and you couldn't recreate the '60s there if you wanted to. Crime Story is being reissued on DVD soon FYI.

I guess that makes me the devil

The first two songs on that record are great. Rest is good too.

He should be in it, but as his character from "Talk Radio." Actually there should be a whole movie just about that guy as a 40something.

I thought the ferris wheel guy looked like Rob Morrow.

Raygun magazine
Anyone keep their old issues? Mine got lost/thrown away and I've always regretted it.

@Balls: I mostly agree, but check out The Buddy Holly Story if you've never seen it. Not a great movie or anything, but Gary Busey really does Buddy Holly justice, mostly by not attempting to impersonate him.

+1

Not sure I can handle this
I still have the image of Edward Furlong in face paint burned in my memory.

I love how he's just this vaguely pissed off guy working a gig, and then the kids run out and he suddenly becomes all jovial.

You are all right, Elaine probably would have liked him. She did like that guy who couldn't remember her, after all, and he had no redeeming qualities. The pony tail guy is probably the biggest douche bag, I think the British guy in the Armani suit episode is a contender also.

Definitely interesting these are back to back because indeed The Fire is one of the best episodes.

The Wife
I didn't realize how weak of an episode this really is until your writeup. Nothing the characters do in this episode seems natural at all, with the possible exception of George. The Kramer subplot, while funny, is probably the most forced. He has never mentioned tanning before, and it seems like an odd thing

This was one of the first things Favreau ever did in show biz. It has to be one of the best guest roles ever, right behind Bookman.

Brent Forrester
will be forever immortalized as Andy Dick's giant floating head in "The Ben Stiller Show."

If anyone gets upset about spoilers for this show they need to turn in their internet license.

Was '81 the Graham Bonnet era? That guy is awesome.
