You said it far better than I did.

I love FTL. On the iPad, it is the perfect exercise machine game.

The only big quest (The Survival Guide) is completable even if you blow Megaton up. Although why Moira would still talk to you after destroying everyone she knows (and Three Dog is broadcasting that the protagonist is the one that did it every four seconds) is anyone's guess.

I blew up Megaton on my first play through. Luckily for my, the stain of mass murder was made up by running assorted errands for people.

I like this song a lot. The problem is that if in a mood to listen to that album it's hard to just not listen to Someone Great and All My Friends - my favorite back to back tracks.

I think Ms. Silverman is neat.

I don't hate the quote I just hate it being employed as if it is some sort of killing blow in a probably meaningless argument. It makes me cranky.

I like exploding gifs.

Can you set it to a Michael Bay gif?

True story: The first time I went to Coney Island I was told I couldn't ride something because I was too fat. This helped inspire me to lose 120 lbs (went from 310 to 190). I've managed to keep most of it off for three years now.

I don't like this.

I actually convinced some friends to play liars dice after too long in Red Dead. Still play it occasionally when drinking.

It just never seemed intuitive to me with those numbers and letters on the bottom. I wanted to love it, but the awesome reward side quests in that game were in the digging. Which leads me to more thoughts on the best and worst RPG mini-games.

So my year long obsession game (Final Fantasy XIV) is gearing up to release the Golden Saucer for mini-games. As part of this, Triple Triad is going to be re-released. This is very exciting to me as I loved that card game.

I don't like this AV Club trend of confronting these interviewees with facts.

I think this gets into some pretty muddy waters about what a content - creator (ugh) owes to her patrons.

Your response is fascinating to me (I say this without sarcasm). You're saying that her incompetent criticism has caused people to think critically about the issues she is criticizing.

Exactly what is a good argument on the use of funds though? I've heard this before, and I cannot quite wrap my head around it. I haven't heard much criticism on this point from her actual supporters. And to me it looks like she promised to make a video and that she fulfilled this promise.

I don't know that Anita would necessarily be so adept at making a game. Many games with an explictly political reason for being don't really function that well as a game.
