God please NO.  Seriously, if you are in any way involved with this, read ALL the books.  And then go online and read some of the various annotations, because NOBODY gets all the references, (they are not all important to the plot, but some of the more obscure ones ARE).  If you LOVE them, STOP what you are doing…
