He was on Adam Carolla's podcast last year and he was so great. Just came off like a good natured, funny dude. The type of guy who could be a great friend of your dad's, except then he could go into these fantastic voices and you realize he's insanely talented.

I don't think Deutch was a very good Hughes stand-in. Between Pretty in Pink, Some Kind… and The Great Outdoors, he's the king of the "lesser" Hughes productions.
