I though that too for a moment, that this was going to be an extension of the "saying whatever you have to stay alive." But since we didn't get a reveal that he *did* have a son, I'm going to assume (for now) that he's to be taken at face value.

Yeah, I had hoped it would come out before I wrote this piece, but alas. Not sure of the release date, but I think it's Magnolia, and they're pretty good about getting their product out, even if it's just to home video.
