You really care that strongly about a shrill, soulless shill for the capitalist spectacle? You think that the death of this millionaire cretin junky is more important than that of hundreds of thousands of other people whose lives were foreshortened by circumstances far out of their control? You think calling others'

I feel worse about starving children than Whitney Houston, about whom I don't give a single little fuck. So suck my dick.

Okay, I'm fine with you being crushed by Whitney Houston's death. But some of us DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT HER.

Yes, because Chris Brown is such an amazing, transcendent artist and not some shill for the spectacle-commodity society. Good job there.

My impression of Armond White: "Blah blah blah blah blah FUCKING WHITE HIPSTERS! blah blah blah blah.

I like R.E.M. okay, but "Automatic for the People" is not a good album for them. That said, it has got to be miles better than "The Bodyguard". Also - ha ha! Whitney Houston's dead!

I just couldn't stand the treacle, sorry.

Yes, how dare you ever mention someone's weight gain?

No, never too soon.

You're wrong, you know.

Easy, there.

I'm sure they'll probably just let Jim get to third base, go home and jerk off, and that'll be that.

Well….Michael Scott would have been fired many times over, too. This is nothing new for the show.

Actually, I think it did. "Todd Packer" was a very poor episode, and I nearly didn't watch "Special Project" because 1) I have nearly given up on "The Office" for good, and 2) I didn't have high hopes for another Amelie Gillette ep. However, in season 8 terms, this was a truly excellent episode.

There's only one civil solution: threesome!

This is all pretty well stated, except that I (and probably plenty of others) consider "Niagara" to be one of the absolute low points of the series - at least up through the 6th season.

Not pretty much - ENTIRELY different.

That's a pretty brilliant analysis of a character that I normally try not to give too much thought to.

I love the Michael Scott Paper Company arc, and agree with McNutt that it is one of the best things the show ever did. Even if, on the other hand, I agree with you that it happened after the show jumped the shark - which in my opinion happened with "Stress Relief". I can prove this scientifically, but don't want to

Truthfully, I think Jim and Pam have been annoying since the beginning of season 4. However, seasons 4 and 5 were still so good that it was easy to forgive this.
