This episode got points for having
1) Something happen in the plot (WHOA)
2) Henry used well (by having him appear for less than a minute)
3) Regina do something that isn't growling at Emma

When I started the show, Dax was one of the characters I was most interested in, but as the show went on she became boring, especially post season 3.  That said she had an interesting central premise, and Blood Oath is one of my favorite episodes of the series.
