I still like to pretend that The White Stripes were brother and sister, but also a married couple… because I'm part French, I guess.

"Kings", I mean. Edit button fail. Flag. Collapse.

King of Leon!
Do they count? There's a darkness there, you know…

Was that a "Books of Magic" reference? If so… LIKE

Dammit…
For the past few months I've been lurking as an unregistered poster (only saying nice things, I swear!) because I was getting too fixated on checking for replies to my comments and worrying about stupid typos. Now I guess I'll have to start logging in again, to get my daily fix…

Billy Bragg
For some reason he was on my TV just before 'The Daily Show' started this evening, and he seemed to be claiming that America elected a black man as president just to impress him. Somehow, I think there was more to it than that…

'Seconds' fucking owns (in the common parlance of our times)… obviously my initial knee-jerk reaction is that it should never be remade, because it's fine at it is… then again, it's such an obscure film, that maybe its premise deserves a wider audience. But only if someone like David Lynch directs it.

THIS! IS! SPARTA!!!

La Pipe FTW. That does make sense now you mention it… the non-threatening goth-girl with a good day job, who (apparently) goes bowling with nuns and stuff like that in her spare time. She's the "Uncle Tom" of goths!

"Forgotten Cornish Ladies of SNL" starring Morwenna Banks!!!

Pauley Perrette
I tried watching this a couple of times because I liked what I'd read about Perrette and her character… and I did enjoy her performance, but I just couldn't enjoy the show itself. Something about the blah-ness of the cases, and the cheesiness of the banter.

Hurrah!

You feed her to the Zombie Nazis, duh.

He's the Beeper King!

God help me…
I don't want to be too complimentary about Uwe Boll, because I think he's a horrible, horrible person… but I like the idea of reusing sets and actors to make two different movies. Not two *Boll* movies, of course… because that's already two too many… but the idea itself is pretty neat. Kind of like how
