Casting
Feels like they've skewed older this year versus past seasons- most are over 30, and many are 40+. I'm guessing they went for established and experienced types over last year's relatively green bunch.

Passive-aggressive advertizing doesn't work? But yeah, corn syrup (glucose with some fructose) is pretty much the same as inverted cane syrup (equal parts glucose and fructose). Just that corn syrup is cheaper so they stick loads of it in everything.

You're gonna love book 10. 600+ pages that don't advance the plot in the least. But at least book 11 is a return to form. I cautiously optimistic about the final books, since Mistborn was pretty good. I don't blame Sanderson for the embiggening, since RJ left so many plotholes and dangling threads.
