I'm with you for the first couple of sentences there, D, but I don't think HIMYM is spinning its wheels. They've had major plotlines, and (unlike some other sitcoms) there have been lasting changes to the characters as a result. But, "even told us the Mother's name"? I don't really see how a show like HIMYM survives…
