Couldn't they have completed the cycle by making this also a reality show? It's not like these people don't screw.
Or would that be too depressing?

That's a bad miss. Yeah, I'm with you on the snooker, Anglophile. Maybe it's a more common hobby in Britain?

George, if we don't pout and bicker what will we post about?

Yeah, I just assumed he meant modern North American sketch comedy only. Besides Fry and Laurie, even just recently there's Hollow Men and Mitchell and Webb, all three of which were at least on par with just about any season of SNL (if maybe not quite Python level). Then of course, there's earlier era of variety shows

I know he died of drugs!
You mean Uncle Robert?

Interesting list of names, and I don't hate any of them.
This could be good if King has a strong enough grip on the project to not let it deteriorate into several, competing segments.

Oh, grandpa.
Just smile and nod, pick out the rare piece of worthwhile knowledge, and let him continue his slow fade into oblivion.

like watching The Wrong Guy
so willing to admit to bad movies, but nothing about that one, huh Dave?

I can't believe Rome didn't make it on to any other lists. I have the bias of a Classics major, but I loved this series. It probably wasn't the best episode (that might be Kalends of February, the finale of season 1, the assassination episode), but The Ram has Touched the Wall was one of my favorites. That scene in

Frito Pendejo, you won.

She always seems to be able to work in the spanking and bondage, Rosebud, but is there any actual fucking?

I think the operative word for Rice, (besides "preternatural") was "alabaster" or "marble." Also, "homosexual." Well, technically they weren't homosexual cause they couldn't fuck, but Rice's vampires and Twilight's could certainly have one hell of a gay showdown.

Be fair, Stoker didn't just add xenophobia. He was at least as gynophobic as he was xenophobic.

My freshman students FREAKED OUT during that scene.

Agreed on Sugar Daddy. I like the original. It's playful and fun, and it's a way for the film to acknowledge country's influence on rock in general and thus even on glam/punk rock, but Black's version was fantastic, the only song I actually like better in the tribute album than the original cd.

I love movies too much to have a favorite movie, but if I did
then this would probably be it.
