Seriously—I fast-forward over his musical numbers and often have to think hard to remember who he is.

I thought he and Kat Dennings had decent chemistry.

Even I think it's weird that my answers to this are Louie (from Louie), Dr. Soto (Alcatraz), and Stevie's dad on Malcolm in the Middle. But whaddyagonnado…as Lily on HIMYM once said, "A woman's sexuality is a moving target."

I have a theory that certain actors are so charismatic they're sort of "everyone's type," and Peter Gallagher is one of them.

I think the outfit in your link is way better than whatever that was last night—the proportions were just so weird.

I never have any idea if a sitcom party is supposed to be great or terrible until one of the characters says it is. They all just look like people milling around with drinks and talking.

To add to the pile-on, 2 small things that kept bugging me:

Thank you for this—I kept trying to post something similar and couldn't manage anything as articulate. Fat female characters in movies often don't feel like people, they're either dismissable jokes or unconditionally-supportive-best-friend types. At the very least, Megan in Bridesmaids was an interesting character who

I have to wonder what it was like for the in-person audience, but listening to it was incredible.

Only cause they already did it at Sectionals, where thankfully it was buried behind "ABC."

I agree on about half the numbers, and couldn't figure out their motivation at all—was it so that the Glee cover wouldn't suffer too much in comparison with the original? Or was it so they could save something like "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" or "Beat It" for another episode?

I agree with your point about the "Smooth Criminal" number—like a lot of numbers on this show, I thought the instrumental/vocal arrangement was excellent and was undercut by how silly the setup and staging were.

Agree! I kind of thought Hurley was going to say something along those lines, but nooooooo.

I hope they do at least one red herring episode, where a criminal with the same M.O. as one of the 63s turns out to just be a plain old modern day thug.

The "Rocket Dog" sketch from when he hosted is one of my favorite SNL sketches of all time.

I think they shot this season right after her maternity leave, but somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

Liz's speech about idiots reminded me so much of one she made in season 1 about why she had to break up with Dennis ("Because he wears shirts with the Looney Tunes embroidered on them. Because he cuts his own hair…"), which made it even better.

I'll keep watching this because I really like Jorge Garcia, but it's going to get annoying if they keep coming to roundabout conclusions that they could have reached by talking to any of the convict's surviving family.

Has Kevin ever owned a bear? And something happens, doo doo doo doo doo doo…
